Everyone claims to make their investment decisions based on analysis but do they? I think that most of us are much more based on emotion than analysis and a lot of people rationalise their emotional decisions with after market appeals to analysis.
I think that people who sow doubt are very effective because no one is 100% sure of anything and fear and greed are finely balanced. If you do make your decision based on cool-headed logic well good for you but on the other hand you say that you started listening to dug which is a pretty good indicator that you did a panic sell.
