Hypothetically.....

If the DLE and supporting processes are affordable at scale from both an OPEX and CAPEX point of view then

IMHO I
- don't expect DFS in early 2023. Expect "H2/2023" to be next target. Optimists will see June 23. LKE might deliver before December 23.
- don't expect permits and licensing to be quick. Most concerned about permit for re injection of processed brine. say 6 to 12 months from DFS.
- don't expect construction to go quick. It took ages to build the shed. Yes the DLE install was reasonable, however it's the rest of the needed infrastructure that will take more time in such a remote location and low availability of equipment and skilled workforce. Say 18 to 24 months construction.
- don't expect LKE to start with 50ktpa. Expect that they'll start with say 20% and then incrementally add and improve additional capacity over following years.
- don't expect LKE to start off producing Lithium Carbonate. Expect that they'll start selling Lithium Chloride offtake first. Early cash flow. Delayed CAPEX expenditure.
- don't expect LKE to build a Lithium Carbonate plant in Kachi, unless the Argentinian Government demands it. Perhaps they'll build conversion in the US or a US friendly for IRA incentives.

IMHO if OPEX and CAPEX make it feasible then perhaps initial low volume LiCl production at Kachi in 2027. Perhaps full capacity in 2029. Perhaps initial 50% Li Carbonate Plant in 2028 in say Canada. Carbonate plant expanded to full capacity for 2029 or excess LiCl sold as offtake if Carbonate price is forecast to dip beyond 2030.
