That is the intended outcome.
The more shares which can be shaken loose, the lower the SP goes, the better the pay day for the short sellers = WIN WIN (but not for retail holders)
Amplifying misery is simply a tool in the arsenal to achieve this outcome.
The funniest part about it (were it funny at all) is all the pretending to be on the retail shareholder's side.
