No, I certainly haven’t found that it is common for “a lot of” companies to ignore all correspondence.
Companies that I have contacted, especially juniors/developers, have responded promptly and professionally.
Perhaps some companies just get so many “enquiries” that that just ignore them all, or at least the ones that ask tough/difficult questions?
Sounds like Ms Greene needs some staff…?
