A construction activity has a very broad scope - physically though usually starting with Civil works.

If there are any civil works including building roads, clearing well head areas, digging ponds, excavating trenches, preparing areas for concrete slabs, pouring any slabs, preparing an area for offices etc that is a construction activity.

If there is any thing going on related to this such as installing pipes or well heads, welding those pipes which go back to the plant, erecting any sort of permanent structure be they a shed to an ablution facility, that is a construction activity.

If they are installing generators, switchboards, cabling, lighting, pumps out at those wells, ponds or gen sets for fuel pumping, that is a construction activity.

And on & on & on & on.
