The process of extraction is not rocket science. All companies with knowledge of the field should be able to do DLE sooner or later.

important thing is how they are able to scale that process of extracting lithium. How they deal with changing brine content from one one area to another.

now the content on brine may change, but DLE will still work, it needs to be confined from time to time if there is anything which prevents the chemical process.

another thing they need to worry about is reinfecting the remainder brine. their are many solutions. either it can be reinjexted to ground, or treated and used for other industry like irrigation, or transported to somewhere else via canals after some treatment if necessary.

but these things just need little extra planning.

and looks just extra overhead.
