Your commentary on IRA and Lake suggests that the feasibility of Kachi is dependent upon IRA support.
- A country needs a Free Trade Agreement with the US to directly benefit from the IRA.
- Argentina doesn’t have Free Trade agreement with the US
- “On average it takes 1½ years to negotiate an FTA with the United States but over 3½ years to reach the implementation stage …”65408971
IMHO, a project that needed IRA support to be feasible, would need certainty of IRA support prior to Final Investment Decision (FID).
Will Lake wait for direct IRA support before FID for Kachi?
