"...people won't care where that lithium comes from." What a sad commentary on "people". I think people do care and their elected representatives will add costs to any battery material that is unethicality sourced. That's why manufacturing moved to China so goods could be unethically sourced.
Regulating lithium is the future just as sure as lithium is the future.
