Not sure if people are aware that once a stock is part of the ASX 300 any index manager has to replicate the index to the exact weightings so they can mirror the performance. I think this is what make be contributing to the increase in the price. LKE officially becomes part of the ASX300 on 22 nd March, however fund Managers make changes prior to the re weighting date so they don't get caught short of not having enough shares which can contribute tp a performance lag. Being included in the ASX300 is also a positive as there are Exchange Traded Funds ( EFTS) which replicate the ASX300 also a positive for the share price. As Im sure you all know ETFs have become very popular for people wanting exposure and risk mitigation.
