I have previously seen the following explanation about the beads.
Beads do wear down/out and they represent a substantial cost. However, the better the beads the higher the Lithium extraction.
So, in summary the use of / replacement of beads will be balanced economically as a trade off between extra cost for replacement beads and the extra Lithium which can be extracted using newer beads.
There is no data available on this now, but it will be worked out on the floor as processing builds up.
