CTR have selected Lilac as their technology partner for the extraction of lithuim from their Salton Sea brine. CTR have binding agreements with GM and Stellantis now also a EI with GM. They also have a MOU with Statevolt for lithium and power and Statevolt will be building a 40GWH plant close to the CTR plant or on there land which they will rent from CTR. Reading the bottom of that news article it mentions that CTR have capacity to produce 300K tons of lithium which is a bit mental. I think Lilac have been working with CTR longer than most as I read that the Salton Sea brine is the most challenging and so if they cracked that first then everywhere else would be more straightforward.
