AaCo (AAC) CEO left yesterday as well. The board informed the market, thanked the outgoing CEO. The CEO did not make any statements himself either.
It is just business, CEO's come and go. To go forward as a business you sometimes need to make the hard and potentially unpopular decisions. Steve has been the face of lake and he was very visible everywhere (small cap share forums etc). The company has now moved into a different phase and just need a CEO that is up to the task. Steve was potentially kicked out and that would have hurt him, but the board needs to think about the business going forward.
