For anyone who may be interested, the ASIC shorts report today indicates total outstanding LKE shorts reached a new high 106.1m as at 29 June.
And ASX has reported new shorts in the subsequent 3 trading days (30 Jun, 1/4 Jul) at 5.1m/4.3m/6.5m. They represent around 15%/14%/20% of the total turnover (ASX + ChiX) on those 3 days.
Of note with daily volumes, the huge volume days from 21-24 Jun appear to have subsided, back to a consistent 28-33m for the last 5 trading days. It's looking like today will see the lowest turnover for 2 weeks.
