This is exactly what I'm thinking. Mainly because no one, except you just now, ever mentioned this as even a remote probability.

JCrap report was prepared some time ago when share price was closer to $1.50. They would be wise to close their shorts.
Daily trading volume is not very high relative to the nearly 100 Mil short sales that will need to be bought back especially if the share price would rise.

Shorts also hope for more bad news that may not come, as opposed to shareholders who expect reasonable progress with a track record to exceed expectations.

It's not an investment advice but I will read the response to Jcrap rpt, and if it sounds as good as I thing it will, I'm going to do exactly the opposite to what Jcrap expects us to do, I'll buy more shares rather than panic.
