Try and imagine a company that just continues to go up in value, where nobody loses
Shorting is there to try and balance things --- granted though it can go too extreme the other way too just as buyers can rocket an SP, shorters can make it fall just as quick
I think you hit the nail on the head mate, a substantiated development will be the only thing that will back the shorts offthings like the 'Kachi Update' were well priced in
