There can be many reasons.
First, LIT etf doesn’t only contain lithium mining companies but also battery technology companies.
For the latter category, rising raw material prices are not good news, although their market is growing like crazy, so their future is bright as well imho.
Second, on the short term markets can be irrational, and I think that's what is happening now. When the markets are down many people are selling without thinking. On the medium / long term, I expect LIT, and especially lithium mining companies reflecting their huge potential.
