Actually i have been thinking about this a little today, as after i posted it i started to have doubts on the Tuesday 7th

I T2 trade a fair bit. If i was to buy Thurs sell Fri the stock code would automatically drop off my account (if no prior shares held) and i never need to settle, just the difference. +/- and im not a registered hokder as far as i am aware.

If i was to sell Monday i settle the full amount Monday and any difference is credited 2 days later.

Its my first experience to get advanced notice on a record date TBH.

You maybe right. Need to do a bit more research on this.
