Or a HD registration trial to prove the safety one more time, and efficacy, on 550 patients to precede or run alongside a large AD trial. PBT2 has yet to be tested for efficacy in AD in a correctly powered trial, although effects seen across both HD and AD leave little doubt that effect has been demonstrated in both diseases.To run both concurrent would need a partner. I would hate to see HD abandoned, for the sake of patients who are in desperate need of an effective cognition treatment.
