yes agree...this was conveyed in the email correspondence when Proctor questioned Ruanes morals implying legal bills come out of the Martu's cut (so he shouldn't have a problem). Chalk and cheese...

I've noted before that I thought the Martu have a case against their legal reps simply because they basically held RWD to ransom and jeopardised the Martu's position when commercial terms had been signed (we have 20m in the bank how long can you last...)

Given RWD's progress of late the Martu are in a worse position than they were 12 months ago imo (they were offered 10% of the company which has just discovered a new Potash occurance, the price of the commodity in question has declined and we're 12 months behind potential production). So in essense Ruane should offer less or at least isolate negotiations to LD.

Either the Martu don't care or their reps are not doing as good a job as they're being payed for. I wonder what the WDLAC's running total for the Martu account is for future compensation ?

No doubt the Central Desert Native Title Services representing the Kiwirrkurra people (LM) will be examining the recent hearings in detail. I'm pretty sure they'll be as surprised as me at what they'll find. One thing is for sure if LM is feasable and negotiations proceed Ruane will have their respect.
