No that is not correct. The article does not reflect the legislation. For battery minerals legislation says 20% immediately increasing by 20% per annum until 80% in 2026 and then 100% in 2027. I suggest you go and read American Car and Driver for a more accurate renditions of the battery minerals provisions.
