This fits with what I just wrote about in the Toyota interview thread, ie Volkswagen apparently just put out a huge advertisement in the nba finals for their new range of EVs coming soon, signalling they are going to have a huge marketing push for their EV range in a campaign to rebrand themselves as progressive and clean after the disastrous diesel emissions scandal.
as per the intro of this podcast, if the auto giants start big marketing campaigns pushing ev’s, then this could be one of the triggers for the next wave of ev sales growth and broad public adoption of ev’s.
