Sure Joe, to each their own. I would challenge a couple of assertions:
1. "at the end of the day the market is always correct" Ooooh no it isn't and there are myriad examples when the fundies follow the leader, sectors wax and wane, which enables the astute to pick where the market clearly is NOT correct. Am sure you can think of many examples over the years. If you mean the market determines the value at a pint of time, ok but not that it is always correct. No, no, no.
2. "the swing trader who played the 4 massive swing would have had big multi baggers compared to the LTBH who have to endure false starts" - Only if said swing traders had the benefit of hindsight as am not convinced they swing that accurately. In fact studies suggest that more traders lose than win, though not quite sure why that would be. Unless they're relying on charts, TA more than the fundamental, which trump all IMO. Especially as a LT investor and I'm not getting any younger.
