Found an interesting Graphic showing all the Battery factories in Europe that are built or being built.
The information is already old coming from 2022.
All of these battery factories will need to secure supplies of Graphite.
Natural Graphite with its significantly lower carbon footprint will probably be favoured by the manufacturers, as Europe moves to tax, embodied carbon.
Lincoln Minerals is in South Australia which has reached 71% renewable energy, which potentially makes it more attractive than locations.

At some point I imagine these companies will be going to their purchasing departments and say FF Sake, do a deal, get me some Graphite... and not from China. They then contact their government department or consultants for help, and some will be referred to Australia and Austrade... and guess what.. Lincoln is in the Austrade investment Catalogue.

Just look at how many battery companies are going to be in Europe, and where the hell are they going to get their Graphite from? The same goes for Korea, Japan, and the US.

Some sort of deal/financing or offtake agreement maybe a lot closer than we think, that doesn't even need the traditional 10 year mine life to be justified. https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/5821/5821809-8e80895d2f6f4dc19463e7519e53ed38.jpg
