This is an interesting prospect and I have run the ruler over it quickly - and decided not to enter at this stage.
The market is currently saying that LML is currently worth about $50M market cap (LML and LMLND combined).
This seems a bit high for me based on what they have.
If I attribute around A$30M market cap (across 1.375M shares) which seems more reasonable, then I get a merged LML/LMLND price of 2.2 cents.
If one was to believe they are worth A$40M (across 1.375M shares), then you get about 2.9 cents - a nice earn on the 2 - 2.2 cents on LMLND - however a risk IMO.
There is no way that LMLND will simply double or more to match LML once the QGL offer expires.
And, you will get consistent selling of LML and buying of LMLND until they are one.
Well done to those who sold LML high and converted to LMLND. However you are now stuck on LMLND for at least another month if not longer!! and You will have to either sell LMLND to get out, or wait for the "merge" and the resulting price.
The best course of action would have been to sell LML high and then wait for entry after the merge in my opinion. Or take the money and run.
It's an interesting situation and I enjoyed assessing it, but it's not for me as I think the merged entity will be worth between say 2 cents and 2.5 cents once the QGL bid expires.
No doubt this post will be unpopular with many believers but hopefully it helps some people also.
