Who knows what Abramovich will do, but if I was in his position I would be buying LNC on the market and doing any deals with Linc on a joint venture basis.

He doesn't have to put his own money in. He would be in the position to arrange funds and any JV would be responsible for the debt on a pro rata basis. [something which I suspect must also be a part of the GCL deal]

I would expect any negotiations with Abramovich to be demanding.

We have seen today some of the best volumes for weeks ... much more than I believe would be based just on a bit of gossip. Somebody is buying and it is serious money IMO.
