Thanks Siv. I reckon the legalities required for me to be comfortable with such an arrangement would be prohibitive, but as someone who is long I'm open to at least investigating this...why not try and make some money off someone who wants to short. As much as I don't like the fact that short selling is allowed, I love the outlook for LNG so can't see too many risks to the SP if I were to rent my shares to him/her.
Maybe ComSec can act as intermediary for us??
Maybe TeTeTe is not really serious about shorting so won't take me up on my offer - who knows!
