There's been no shortage of doom and gloom in recent times and given the immediate need for liquidity, has caused long term, ever so faithful shareholders no shortage of stress and anxiety and rightfully so I may add. Foxdog is right, one would think that the options that they supposedly have available to them of which we are told are numerous, would have been sorted by now one way or another. My own communication with LNG a month ago confirmed that given these options they had hired advisors "to ensure they do what is best for shareholders." I accepted that, but again, that was a month ago and silence since. How long does it take to provide the required advice and act upon it, not to mention give your shareholders some idea what's going and thus hopefully put a stop to destruction of shareholder value?
Moneybags has kept us all grounded with his many indisputable facts relating to many statements made which have turned out to be non starters but there are still a number of other factors that give me some solace.

We are in fact still the only fully permitted greenfield LNG project and ready to take our shovel back from Tellurian at a moment's notice.
IDG would never permit such a loss of face if they were to loose their investment which in the scheme of things was not made all that long ago.
Baupost would stand to lose what, $100m? $150m? More? After this many years I can't see them standing around waiting for that to happen along with IDG.
Our deal with Vietnam (and yes I know it's only an MOU at this stage) was done only back in September last year. Now surely Delta Energy and all the other parties involved would have done enough homework on our then current standing and more so our future to be confident enough to say yep, LNG Limited and Magnolia are the ones we'll jump into bed with. We know all about their current funding and the plans they have in place to address liquidity issues so our project endorsed by the Vietnamese Government will never be under threat of delay.
Having your name associated with a company that went down the tubes burning shareholders both retail and sophisticated insto's is something none of the well respected names running our company would ever want listed on their C.Vs. They're not going to let that happen, they'd be lynched.

One way or another there will be an affect on shareholders but for reasons listed above I don't believe it will be anywhere near terminal.
