LONDON: Spain's Naturgy has cancelled loading of one liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo in the United States in April amid a slump of global gas prices, three industry sources said on Thursday.
The price spread between U.S. Henry Hub and the Dutch gas price, a benchmark in Europe, has shrunk as gas prices globally have fallen to multi-year lows this winter on subdued demand.
Naturgy is contracted to buy 5 million tonnes a year (mtpa) of LNG from U.S. terminals.
