Well Shamish, no response to you post. Surely someone must have known about the discussions with the Port Authorities and QLD govement officials as in their ASX update of the 8:07:08 they stated the following : Our target date for LNG productions from LNG facilities at Abbot Point and Hay Point is 2012 or earlier if the liences and permits can be obtained on a priority basis:.
Market response to ASX ANN was nil and no further information from EWC in regards to how they are going to achieve such a tight schedule.
I believe there is a lot things happening byhind closed doors, not only in regards to Abbot Point but also other areas where they have stated they intend to achieve their 15 mtpa supply of LNG by 2012.
I'm also sure that all will be ann at this years AGM and those not holding shares on that date will regret it.
