Well i did not know that. I am not a public health expert but that sounds way way less than ideal to me. Actually way way way less.

Just one of a huge number of ways gas can make life better and help alleviate suffering without having a major adverse environmental impact like coal.

I know that India was a hold out at the Paris climate talks because of the poverty issue. India was of the view that the west had exploited fossil fuels to get out of poverty and was now tell India it could not do the same because of climate change. This despite India having 100's of millions in dire circumstances. Fair point.

So if they wish to exploit fossil fuels for poverty alleviation then it seems gas can keep both sides of this discussion happy.
