This was bought up a while ago at one of the Sydney meetings, basically they are open to shorter term contracts, but it would be at a higher price as the debt repayments would remain the same overall, but a shorter term contract would require them to cover the debt over a shorter period of time. I.e. 2mtpa requires a rough average of 1 Billion in debt. In a 20 year contract thats 50mil p.a. whereas in a 15 year contract thats 66mil p.a. That will need to be factored into the tolling agreement. Figures are only rough to provide example.

Long story short, you can have a shorter contract, but the tolling price will be higher to cover the overall debt over the shorter timeframe.
