What you seem to forget is LNG has been sold down to these levels because of numerous events that have taken place. Oil price, slowing down in China, nervousness amongst Americans about interest rate movements, market corrections etc,etc.
As I posted recently, it has been the perfect storm for stocks to be belted. I cannot remember BHP trading at these levels since the GFC.
No one could have forcasted all of these events would happen in such a short space of time.
All those instos who took the placement stock at 4.35 certainly did not. Thank god they did.
To sing the praises of someone who was constantly talking LNG down without giving legitimate reasons why it would be sold down is difficult to understand.
We have not seen this type of volatility in equity markets for a very long time. That's the reality.
