Not the way I do it. You only go long if you conisder the stock undervalued or worth investing in. Based on your buy criteria. And for me LNG is not. I don't just buy or short because everyone else is. I have my own strategy that i use. Eventually everything will balance out of get back to a reasonable equilibrium. Sometimes stocks can trade irrational for a lot longer than rational. For no reason what so ever. That said i will look for shorting opportunities on rallies and catch the short term pullbacks. Eventually I will catch the next big wave down. Which will dwarf the previous ones.

What you say is true when a stock is priced on hype and is over valued. Given that you seem to be suggesting that this is the case here, how about presenting your rationale for it being over valued at this point in time.
