That wasn't exactly crystal-ball sort of stuff - it was obvious by Dec there would be an oversupply in Q1 2015. Not only because of OPEC refusing to cut supply but because of the end of the northern Winter and the natural seasonal drop in demand. It should last through the northern Spring(ie March-April) as the refineries go offline for annual maintenance, and then come back as the rig cuts start to bite (although gradually due to the overhang of hedged shale production in the US).
We were posting the same sort of comments on HC last November - don't need to be T. Boone to figure that one out.
