Haha still at it
It’s the same thing every time, “dire” “perilous state” “Liquidity problem” etc
Wow, it’s amazing there are so many dedicated non-holders who are taking the time to hammer home this narrative.
Why?
The answer is often because they are looking for a cheaper entry or re-entry (or if they are holders, to average down for less).
Why is it a false narrative?
Because management has NOT merely 10 wks as pwhiteman alleges but rather $6m for Q1 and $2m for Q2, with plenty of viable financing options on the table under consideration, including:
- Sell Bear Head
- License the IP (Justace pointed out here https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/optimising-mid-scale-lng.5232106/?post_id=43005445 that LNG Industry magazine has just done a 2-page spread on its OSMR technology in https://www.lngindustry.com magazine. Sounds like this is where they are headed?)
- Government subsidies. This project is all about building national LNG supply infrastructure and creating jobs in Louisiana.
- Seeking further investment from IDG, who no doubt can see the trade war clouds clearing right now.
- JV similar to the one just announced between Lake Charles LNG our neighbour and Shell.
- Take on a small debt facility for working capital.
- Do a small capital raising to see us through 2020, the prospects for which just got better 2 days ago.
- Accept a deal lower than Greg’s expectations, opting for survival over the amount of profits Greg has always had in mind. 8.8 mtpa for 10 years from the US would meet the needs of many buyers, who may swoop at the the opportunity created in recent weeks to wrangle a better deal.
There are other possibilities such as that LNGL has been in and is still being primed for takeover but a private equity firm. This would also explain the concerted efforts to trash talk the stock on HC and spread dissatisfaction with management specifically.
It is false to spread such nonsense when management has made clear that it has a raft of options under consideration and when LNGL’s current market cap is close to the value of the land!
"We think the Gulf will be the epicentre of how North America will prosecute its global energy advantage, which is hinged on ultra-low-cost supply feeding growing global energy demand," he said.””

“Officials from several of those developers, including Tellurian, Cheniere, and LNG Limited, spoke at the Platts conference Thursday. While none expressed worry of possibly having to abandon projects, they all acknowledged the challenges facing the market, especially for developers relying on new offtake contracts.”

Readers can see right through attempts to down ramp this stock and like I said, such attempts have now lost their effectiveness.
Just my opinion
