The closing price doesn't simply change to the face value of the T trade though... it still considers volume. Not too dissimilar from our closing auction really in how it's worked out.
So if the stock closes at $2 and a T trade was for $1.80 during the day, the closing price won't be $1.80. It may not even shift the closing price of $2 - it is still dependent on the volume.
