releasing hostages is really only one part of the equation. should Israel ease back on murdering innocent people, attacking ONLY HAMAS and not hurting others, not destroying the entire region, the people of Gaza would be more likely to hand over Hamas to the Israelis.
but there are more agenda items Netanyahu's list. he's trying to hang on to power and avoid his criminal trials. he also wants to increase the geographic size of Israel. 'This (Gaza) is my Last Territorial Demand!'.
