The dark clouds are forming quickly over Australia but not many businesses and banks seem to be worried about the LNP push to force Google & Facebook to pay $1billion for gossip news which may result in the shut down of Google in Australia.
What will happen to all the millions of businesses who have paid for & rely on SEO & Adwords to gain leads and sales? How many businesses and their cashflows to their bankers will be affected if Google where to shut down after the damage done to businesses during the pandemic?
How can the LNP, ALP & ACCC justify risking the cashflow of millions of businesses and their bankers by gambling with the possible shut down of Google in their quest to help commercial media barons Murdoch & the owners of Channel 9,7,10? Whatever happens Australia continues to need Reserve Bank support or should we learn fast on how to use search engines Bing, Yahoo or the Chinese owned Baidu, ?
