It’s his opinion, which, last time I checked, he was free to express.
In this case, a boycott is simply action the consumer can take in an attempt to reverse a corporate decision. Consumers can do what they want, and the corporate can either listen or ignore their views. They, ultimately, are answerable to their shareholders.
PS. I see Coles are happy to take up the slack left by Woolies.
