Krisp - don't know what trading days you're talking about but the first screenshot I provided showed over 100% of the shares traded between 26 Nov and 2 Dec. Borrowed shares churned repeatedly after spikes created on closure. Rinse and repeat.
There are 352m shares in issue. Bear in mind that for every trade there's a seller and a buyer, so divide the number in two to get the actual shares traded.
Shorters provide liquidity (apparently). Clearly SGH would have struggled without them so we should all be thankful (according to the UK Treasury). More people need to understand the huge lack of transparency around this clinical activity designed only to benefit the organisations doing it. Huge amounts of money are being taken out of the market, seldom to return. It's your money (or rather: it was).
