I had a look at those stats from the ABS. Finance to proeprty investors in February 2012 was $5,233m down 5.2% from February 2011.
If you think about it that is $70b per year that is being piled on top of demand from owner occupiers which is why we have had asset price inflation.
When the crash happens (might be a long while off yet) I expect like these figure to drop the most.
