It seems my new idea has caught on ..

(Draft) ASX announcement:

The governing committee of the ASX announces its new policy, applying only to junior gold companies, of "Luck Orientated Accounting Policies (LOAP)".

A representative said: "We've been concerned for a long time about the time and effort that Accountants in the junior gold sector have to spend in getting their company accounts right. In the current economic climate, this is not proving to be an efficient use of human resource".

The new policy, which allows cash flows to be managed and accounting statements prepared largely on the basis of luck, will allow stressed companies to focus on the things that really matter - Resource Exploration And Production (REAP) (for example).
