Lobby for new marketing team, page-5

Hello all,

I felt compelled to join and comment on this thread, as a long time supporter and shareholder.

I wouldn't have known about Oliver's if it wasn't for the cycling team they sponsored for many years. I believe it was the best marketing campaign they ever had. Healthy food aligned with sport.

I met the young kid who ran the team at an event, and he said at the time that he was working as the marketing manager for the company as well as the team. Seems like that is no longer the case as the team isn't named Oliver's anymore.

Did anyone else see the Oliver's cycling team? Would simply sponsoring sport or events aligned to healthy diet and lifestyle be the answer for advertising and content? McDonald's and KFC seem to get alot out of sport advertising.
