Why does everyone thing Investec just hands out money for free? They agreed to amend and extend their previous loan when we were in the midst of a crisis because they would have known we had received a settlement offer. Do you think that they are going to hand over money again for nothing in a market (Thailand) where they close to being burnt? Investec are going to want some juicy warrants on any type of deal (if interested at all).

Again, let's remember that the company had an offer of non-recourse financing (no security) at 10-12% but decided it wasn't in their interests. Stubbornness can leave one terminally ill.
