So another article about the fake news. I'm only mentioning this one because it includes a few quote from a "source", presumably within DPIM. It says the arbitration process hasn't been finalised but it's very close to ending because they need to be very considered in the negotiations. The source says "I can't tell you when it will conclude - whether the end of the year or next year - because it's in the process of a negotiation. But I can assure you it's going to be a good outcome for Thailand."
Ignore the mention of next year because we know it's going to be this month, the source is just trying to be vague with the reporter about timing. But consider the last bit of the quote that it's all about the negotiation and it's going to be a good outcome for Thailand. So we're simply not going to see a decision of the tribunal, just put that idea to bed now. We're getting a face-saving settlement for the Thais that's going to be good for them in terms of jobs, economic development, no compensation etc (and us of course in getting our list of demands).
