No, because they've (Ministers and Senior public officials of the Department of Primary Industries and Mines) said publicly, and it's even stated in the section 44 order, that they don't know the facts or causes of the purported health issues.
Also, I would expect the tribunal to take the independence of the source of any evidence into account when considering it. Evidence gathered before the section 44 order was given will hold more weight than evidence gathered after.
BTW it has nothing to do with mercury. It's claimed that some people in the local area have elevated levels of arsenic and manganese and the untested theory is that the cause is the mining operations.
