So what's a potential JV going to pay?
Based on the existing Chatree Resource in isolation if valued at US$500M they'd be buying in at an EV/Resource of only ~$130/oz. Noting this would be a 50% to 200% discount to international peers, where sovereign risk is still high (e.g. RSG, RRL) and 400% of Aussie miners.
