Correction...it will be deem to have been shut down for "political purposes" given the above discovery process plus clear lack of any due process leading into the shut down and subsequent lack of engagement until threats of international arbitration took hold. Plenty of international precedent here where similar decisions were seen to be completely disproportionate and politically motivated versus other alternative courses available.

Quite frankly their PM deserves what he now gets from the press as he has been a disgrace to not engage with the company from the outset. Moreover, his decision has been directly responsible for costing the country millions in lost royalties, +1,000 local losing their jobs, local families moving out of region and lack of funding for the various community funds. Indeed, none of the younger locals had a chance to escaping their cycle of poverty unless we funded their higher education. So it doesn't surprise me the votes are so strongly skewed in favour of re-opening. Noting many of the 1,000 workers have now left to other regions out of necessity.
