They don´t want to jeopardize those conditions by letting others destroy them and then leave just the debris and the leftovers of a huge business, with the main profits going elsewhere. INF is talking all the time about local jobs as their main sales pitch, but the truth is that the future of jobs in Caceres is bound to be much darker with the mine than without it.

It is the Old Town of Cáceres that is listed by UNESCO, not the whole town of Cáceres, and that is approximately 10% of the town area.
