RISK AND REWARD ANALYSIS Despite a lethargic market towards junior resource companies, there have been some very strong rallies of late with Ventnor Resources (VRX) surging from a low of 13c on 8 August 2011 to a high of 73.5c on 5 September 2011. (VRX 40.5c at time of writing). This was on the back of exciting copper results from their Thaduna/Green Dragon project located 40kms east of Sandfire’s Degrussa Project. NRR who are also located in this prolific region have released some highly encouraging IP study results and high grade rock chip samples, but have struggled to maintain investor interest. The following photograph from NRR’s presentation released on 7 September 2011 serves to highlight the potential at Horseshoe Range. Figure 2: Gold specimens recently found at surface at Horseshoe Range Based on highly encouraging ASX announcements and the upcoming deep RC drilling program at Horseshoe Range, Locantro’s Life considers the risk/reward profile to be very attractive. The key to success in speculation is to BUY prior to drilling programs and be in a position to take profits when others are scrambling to be involved. With a very low profile and tight capital structure, NRR has the potential to surprise to the upside if the drilling program proves successful. With the potential rewards, also comes a higher degree of risk, and in the event of a surge in interest I would expect extreme volatility in both directions.
